Week two is here! There are some pretty hefty matchups this week, with one being quite the rematch. Lets break them down and the Bama players set to make and Impact.

Eagles at Chiefs: Sun. Sept 14, 3:25 p.m. ct

Jalen Hurts (Eagles) -  Can the Eagles put another beat down on the mighty Chiefs? We shall see, and with the way the Chiefs lost last week, it is very possible. The Eagles offense runs through Hurts, no pun intended. Watch for more passing here from this offense as the Chiefs were torn apart through the air last week. But if the ground game is unstoppable yet again, then it'll be on Hurts' legs and Barkley on the ground that get it done.

DeVonta Smith (Eagles) - Coming off a small performance last week, expect this passing game to get going in this matchup. The Chiefs will make a point to try to stop the run so if they are successful, watch Smitty get the ball to move the chains, while Brown will be the over the top deep threat.

Browns at Ravens: Sun. Sept 14,  Noon ct

Jerry Jeudy (Browns) - With Flacco under center, this offense is play action heavy, which is good news for Jeudy. He had a good showing last week and was heavily involved so expect a similar outing here. Flacco is more than capable of tearing up this defense through the air once the run game is established. Jeudy is a prime candidate to have a big game.

Derrick Henry (Ravens) - Henry had a big week last week and looks to continue his 100+ rushing game streak in this one. With how much the Ravens run the ball, Henry will most definitely get the carries to make that happen.

Patriots at Dolphins: Sun. Sept 14,  Noon ct

Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) - Coming off a tough loss against the Colts last week, the Dolphins look to reset the trajectory of their season with a big divisional win this week. Tagavailoa has both Hill and Waddle at full capacity, and we know they like to throw the ball. Expect this offense to respond as long as they can pass protect better. Easier said than done so we shall see.

Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins) - Coming off a tough performance last week, Waddle should be in line to have a better week this week against a team he usually performs highly against. Waddle should be able to make the most of his opportunities with Hill getting a ton of focus from this defense.

Notable players to watch:

Calvin Ridley (Titans) - With a tough week last week against one of the best defenses in the league, the Titans now face a tough, but manageable defense in the Rams. Cam Ward looked good in his first start so expect the chemistry between these two to improve this week. Don't be surprised if Ridley has a big game.

Josh Jacobs (Packers) - The Thursday night game against the Commanders looks to be a good one. Two great teams face off. Jacobs had quite the game last week and should be able to continue that this week against a run susceptible defense. Jacobs should have a good game here as well.

That does it for this weeks top players and games to watch from Bama players around the league. Check back Tuesday for the Recap to see how they performed in week two of the 2025 NFL season.
