Seven New Alabama Football Players Sign With Nike
Seven Alabama football players have joined the Nike family, it was announced on Thursday morning.

The seven new players were quarterback Keelon Russell, edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre, defensive backs Bray Hubbard, Zabien Brown, and Dijon Lee, with freshmen wide receiver Cederian Morgan and running back EJ Crowell joining the fray. Wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams signed a multi-year deal with Nike last offseason, bringing the Tide's total count to eight players who are a part of the Nike family.
Pierre, Hubbard, and Brown are returning full-time starters for the Crimson Tide, while Lee started five games last season, according to Alabama's roster. Russell is competing with Austin Mack for the Tide's starting quarterback vacancy. Crowell and Morgan are hoping to make an impact with the Crimson Tide early as freshmen, and Morgan, Pierre, and Crowell are from the state of Alabama, as well as Coleman-Williams.
In addition to the eight current players on Alabama's roster, Nike has also signed 5-star quarterback prospect Elijah Haven, who is committed to the Crimson Tide. Alabama is one of 14 teams with at least one student-athlete signed with Nike: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, SMU, Stanford, Syracuse, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
