Eli Gold on The Gary Harris Show
The voice of the Crimson Tide, Eli Gold, joined The Gary Harris Show this morning to talk about the Crimson Classic Replay Series that the Crimson Tide Sports Network has produced for our listeners this spring. Harris had talked about this game a bit on Monday when he rewound the clock to the 2011 season in reminiscing over the April 27, 2011 tornadoes. Gold gave his perspective on the game, the lead up and the experience of playing LSU a second time.
Gold and Harris agreed that after the regular season matchup both felt that the Crimson Tide was the better team but acknowledged that Alabama was fortunate to have an opportunity of a rematch. Gold marveled over how impressed that Alabama defense was in that game, holding the LSU Tigers to zero points.
