Alabama Adds Five-Star In-State Running Back to 2026 Recruiting Class
The Crimson Tide continues an impressive streak of commits this week, adding one of the top running backs in the 2026 recruiting class to the fold on Thursday.

According to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, five-star running back Ezavier Crowell has committed to Alabama.
He chose the Crimson Tide over Texas, Georgia, and Auburn.
Crowell, a 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back from Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, has visited the Capstone double-digit times, according to On3 Sports. He wrapped up his official visits this summer with visits to Georgia, Texas, Auburn, and ended it at Alabama on June 20. The Tide had been the favorite for quite some time, with running backs coach Robert Gillespie leading the way for Crowell. Despite a late push from the Longhorns, Alabama was able to lock down the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama.
Crowell boasts game-breaking speed in his stats, with 3,701 rushing yards over the last two seasons and 56 rushing touchdowns. He's more than just a ground threat, too, catching 20 passes for 470 yards and six touchdowns over that span.
