"Naturally-gifted defensive tackle with rare movement skills at 6-foot-5, 310 pounds. One of the more unique jumbo athletes early on in the 2024 cycle. A twitchy, explosive athlete who runs like a much smaller player. Chases down plays from the back side and runs sideline-to-sideline with ease. A loose, fluid mover with natural flexibility. Shows his natural explosion as a finisher," said On3 Sports' scouting evaluation on Scott.

According to 247Sports, Scott recorded 37 total tackles (15 solo, 22 assisted), five tackles for loss, and two fumble recoveries in 2021. In 2022, Scott helped St. Ignatius to a 10-3 season and an appearance in the 6A Illinois High School Association Playoffs. The team narrowly lost to Crystal Lake 21-19.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Notre Dame is still the favorite to land the prospect with a 66.8% chance.
