Alabama is picking up steam once again on the recruiting trail, and it is expected to continue as the Crimson Tide wraps up its spring football practice this weekend, culminating in the annual A-Day, which will take on a different format this season compared to the past few.

A-Day will now be a 90-minute open practice, which fans can attend for free on Saturday, April 12. While the current Crimson Tide roster will practice for the final time this spring on Saturday, the Tide's recruiting staff and coaches will use it as a springboard for developing relationships with key prospects from around the country.

In-state recruiting is also crucial during A-Day, and Alabama will likely have a heavy presence from in-state prospects this weekend. One key prospect is five-star running back Ezavier Crowell, from Jackson, Alabama. Crowell will be in attendance for the Tide's A-Day practice.

According to the On3 Sports ranking, Crowell is a five-star prospect, standing at 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds. He's ranked as a top-30 prospect and the No. 2 running back in the 2026 class and No. 3 player in the state of Alabama.

Crowell has visited Alabama more times than any other school, with Saturday's visit being his eighth unofficial visit to the Capstone. He also has an official visit scheduled with the Tide on June 20.

Crowell's recruitment won't be an easy win for the Tide, with the five-star from Jackson, Alabama, also visiting Auburn five times.
