The Crimson Tide still has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, but how can the Crimson Tide bolster its already strong class with just three weeks until the early signing window for high school recruits?

Naeshaun Montgomery - Wide Receiver

Montgomery is a four-star recruit according to composite, and is currently committed to the Florida Gators. Montgomery scheduled a visit to Alabama to watch the Crimson Tide dominate the Mercer Bears.

Alabama was a finalist for Montgomery in August when he made the decision to commit to the Florida Gators. the No. 21 wide receiver in the country will use his final official visit to Alabama on November 16. He has taken two other official visits, spending May 31 in Gainesville, Florida visiting the Gators and June 21 in State College, Pennsylvania visiting the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Derek Meadows - Wide Receiver

Meadows is a four-star wide receiver hailing from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The No. 12 wide receiver in the 2025 class is currently committed to the LSU Tigers on July 20, but Alabama was a finalist alongside Notre Dame and Georgia. Meadows may be re-thinking his decision after watching the Crimson Tide throttle the Tigers 42-13 in Death Valley on Saturday night. Meadows visited Alabama on an official visit on June 21.

Ivan Taylor - Safety

Taylor is a four-star safety hailing from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida, and is currently committed to Michigan. However, Tom Loy and Brett Greenberg of 247 Sports have logged predictions for the Crimson Tide to flip the No. 7 safety in the 2025 class. With Alabama already having two cornerbacks in the class, Taylor could bolster a secondary room that will lose at least safety Malachi Moore this offseason. Taylor visited Alabama on an official visit on June 7. Taylor originally committed to Notre Dame on December 1, 2023, before flipping his commitment to the Michigan Wolverines on July 8, 2024.

Donovan Starr - Cornerback

Starr would be an especially sweet flip for Alabama, as he is currently committed to the Auburn Tigers and has been since June 6. Starr visited Alabama on an official visit on October 26, and the Crimson Tide would likely need another defensive back in addition to five-star Dijon Lee and four-star Chuck McDonald. Starr is ranked as a four-star recruit from Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tennessee, and is the no. 28 cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class. The Crimson Tide offered Starr on October 3, 2024, and his primary recruiter is Alabama defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist.

Early National Signing Day for football is slated to be Wednesday, December 4, just three days before conference championships. In addition to the early signing day being December 4, the transfer portal will open for current collegiate athletes from December 9 to December 28 in the winter window.
