Former Alabama Defensive Back Signs With Falcons

Former Alabama defensive back DeMarcco Hellams has signed his rookie deal with the Atlanta Falcons, according to KPRC2's NFL reporter Aaron Wilson.

Wilson reports that the deal is a four-year $3.946 million and includes a $106,300 signing bonus.

The Falcons drafted Hellams with the No. 224 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft in April.

The Washington D.C. native played four seasons at the Capstone, recording 261 total tackles (160 solo, 101 assisted), 7.5 tackles for loss for 22 yards, 2.5 sacks for 11 yards, 17 passes defended, four interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Hellams is the only Alabama alumnus currently on the Falcons roster.
