Former Alabama Defensive Lineman Re-Enters Transfer Portal
Former Alabama and Nebraska defensive lineman Stephon Wynn Jr., has re-entered the transfer portal.
The S.C. native played four seasons for the Crimson Tide, seeing time in 21 games and recorded 16 total tackles (three solo and 13 assisted) and a quarterback hit.
Wynn entered the transfer portal on April 20, 2022, and announced his transfer to Nebraska shortly after.
Last season, Wynn played in 12 games for the Cornhuskers, recording 22 total tackles (seven solo and 15 assisted), 0.5 tackles for loss, one pass defended, and one fumble recovery.
Wynn is a former four-star recruit from the class of 2018. He ranked No. 74 nationally, No. 3 in strong side defensive ends, and No. 16 in the state of South Carolina, according to 247Sports Composite.
He picked Alabama over South Carolina and Georgia and came to the Capstone in the same class as Patrick Surtain, Jaylen Waddle, and Josh Jobe.
