Alabama reserve defensive lineman Stephon Wynn Jr. entered the transfer portal on Wednesday afternoon, according to Matt Zenitz, the senior national college football reporter for On3Sports.

The redshirt senior played in 18 games during the last three seasons. During his Tide tenure, he made two solo tackles and 11 assisted tackles.

The Anderson, S.C. native received his Alabama offer in January of 2017. He went on an unofficial visit in June of the same year and officially committed the following month.

Wynn signed with the Crimson Tide on December 20, 2017, and enrolled on January 23, 2018.

According to rolltide.com, "[Wynn] transferred to IMG Academy for his senior season, coming from T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, S.C. [He] finished his senior campaign with 18 total tackles and three for a loss across eight games played at IMG. [He] totaled 77 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a junior at Hanna. [He] collected 73 tackles with 13 for a loss and four sacks in his sophomore campaign at TLHHS."

Wynn is the 16th player from the Crimson Tide to enter the transfer portal since the start of 2022.
