Former Alabama Crimson Tide and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle will be one of the honorary captains along with Rashad Johnson during the Alabama/LSU game this weekend.

During his college career, Croyle threw for 6,382 yards with 41 touchdowns and is regarded as one of the best quarterbacks to come through Alabama. In 2005, his 2,499 passing yards is the second highest in a single-season in school history. He was a finalist of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award for most outstanding quarterback and also won MVP of the 2006 Cotton Bowl Classic.

He was drafted 85th overall to the Kansas City Chiefs where he played four season before retiring with the Arizona Cardinals a few years later.

Croyle joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss his best memory as a player at Alabama, not wanting to play against Nick Saban while he was at LSU, Saban developing players into better men, and Jalen Hurts having to develop as a quarterback under the biggest microscope in college football.

For Croyle's conversation with Fowler, make sure you tune in to the video above the article. Don't miss The Game with Ryan Fowler weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.
