Former Alabama Quarterback Wins NFC Offensive Player of the Month
Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is the NFC's Offensive Player of the Month for September.
The third-year veteran is 66-of-98 for 916 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception this month.
Hurts has led the Philadelphia Eagles to a perfect 3-0 start to the season, the only team in the league that remains undefeated and is No. 1 in the NFC East.
The former national champion ranks No. 4 in yards per attempt and total passing yards, as well as No. 8 in quarterback rating this season thus far.
Hurts was drafted as the No. 53 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Eagles and became a starter his sophomore season. He has seen time in 33 professional games, including 22 starts, going 408-of-678 for 5,121 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.
