Former Alabama shortstop and Gold Glove winner Jim Jarvis has signed his contract with the Detroit Tigers.

The San Diego, Calif., native spent four seasons at the Capstone (2020-23). Last season, he recorded 68 hits, 65 runs, 33 walks, 30 runs batted in, ten doubles, nine stolen bases, six home runs, four triples, and a .273 batting average.

He was drafted as the No. 320 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.
