2028 4-Star Offensive Lineman Commits to Alabama
Alabama continues to roll on with the 2028 recruiting class after Hayes Fawcett of On3 and Rivals announced that 2028 4-star offensive lineman Anthony Blalock Jr. has committed to the Crimson Tide.

"I give all the glory to God! I just want to thank my family...Let the legacy begin," Blalock said in his commitment to Fawcett. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle chose Alabama over the Ohio State Buckeyes, his home-state team, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Blalock is from Austintown, Ohio, where he plays his high school football for the Austintown Fitch. He's rated as a four-star offensive tackle prospect, according to the Rivals Industry ranking, as the No. 297 overall prospect, the No. 30 offensive tackle, and the No. 8 player in Ohio. He's taken nine total visits so far, visiting Pittsburgh, Florida State, Notre Dame, Indiana, Alabama, and Texas Tech once, and Ohio State three times.
He holds offers from the previously visited schools as well as Penn State, Missouri, and Georgia Tech, among others.
Blalock is Alabama's sixth commitment in the 2028 recruiting class.
Alabama's 2028 Recruiting Class:
4-Star QB Kingston Preyear
4-Star CB Braylen Gibbs
4-Star OL Anthony Blalock Jr.
3-Star QB Charles Scott
3-Star LB Dustin Henry
LB Ryqquan Butler
The Crimson Tide's 2028 class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC before Preyear's commitment, according to the Rivals Team Rankings.
