Scott is Alabama's fifth commitment of Alabama's 2024 class and the second receiver commit for the Crimson Tide, joining Alabama native Perry Thomson.

The 6-foot, 180-pound wideout attends Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Offensive line coach Eric Wolford serves as Scott's primary regional recruiter, assisted by Scott's position coach in Holmon Wiggins.

Scott elected to join the SEC powerhouse over the in-state Penn State Nittany Lions, who were considered leaders for his commitment.

While he isn't the highest ranked prospect, Alabama likes what they see off tape from Scott. Prior to his senior season of high school, Alabama receiver Kobe Prentice wasn't highly regarded by recruiting services, but was committed to Alabama. By the end of his senior season, he was one of the top receivers in the 2022 cycle.

Fellow 2024 commit Perry Thompson wasn't ranked by several services before his junior season at Foley High School, but earned five-star status after his junior campaign.

Despite having only five commits in the 2024 class, Alabama has a plethora of talent. Alabama has three five-star pledges: quarterback Julian Sayin, cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe, and receiver Perry Thompson. Scott joins linebacker Sterling Dixon as four-star talent committed to Alabama.
