Williams is receiving national recognition for his performance for the Crimson Tide so far this season, being named to the Biletnikoff Award Watchlist on Wednesday.

The Belitnikoff Award is presented annually to the best wide receiver in the nation. Alabama is familiar with the award, with Amari Cooper winning in 2014, Jerry Jeudy winning in 2018, and DeVonta Smith winning in 2020.

Jameson Williams was also a finalist for the award in 2021.

Ryan Williams has already made a name for himself in college football, starting every game for the Crimson Tide so far this season. Williams has recorded 544 yards and six touchdowns on just 19 receptions. He showed up on the biggest stage, with his best game coming in week five against the Georgia Bulldogs, where he recorded six catches for 177 yards and the game-winning touchdown.

He's recorded at least one touchdown in every game he's played so far. Williams currently averages 108.8 yards per game, less than 0.5 yards short of what Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond averaged in 2023 combined (109.1).

Williams is the only Alabama player currently on the Biletnikoff Award watchlist.

Fans can vote for their favorite player by using the Biletnikoff Award FanVote.
