Sights From Alabama Football’s First Practice Preparing for the College Football Playoff
The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to the practice fields on Friday as the Crimson Tide prepares for its first round College Football Playoff game against the Oklahoma Sooners a week from today.

In the practice photos and video provided by the University of Alabama, starting running back Jam Miller can be spotted participating in practice after suffering a lower-body injury in the Tide's 27-20 victory over the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl. Miller did not suit up for Alabama in the Iron Bowl and had a boot on his right foot in Atlanta.
Additionally, Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson, who left the Tide's 28-7 loss to Georgia in the SEC championship game in the third quarter, was a participant in practice as well. After practice, Jefferson told reporters, "I twisted my ankle pretty good, but God blessed me with elasticity. I'm really flexible or something. I'm all good now. It's just a little momentary bruise."
