Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Crimson Tide took to the Thomas Drew Practice Facility for Alabama's first spring scrimmage of the 2025 football season. The Crimson Tide ran roughly 115 plays, splitting 50 plays each between the first string and the second string, while the third string got 15 plays.

According to sources, one player generating buzz after the scrimmage is true freshman linebacker Abduall Sanders Jr. Sanders, a 6-foot-2, 233-pound linebacker from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, signed with the Crimson Tide during the early signing period.

With the scrimmage in the rearview mirror, Alabama is now over halfway done with spring practice, with the scrimmage marking practice number eight. Alabama will finish its spring practice with an hour and a half practice on Saturday, April 12, in place of the usual A-Day spring game. The final practice will be available for fans to attend, with admission being free.
