Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Alabama Crimson Tide was handed its second loss in SEC play this season, falling to 10-2 and firmly in second place behind the No. 1 team in the country - the Auburn Tigers, after the Tigers defeated Alabama in Coleman Coliseum 94-85 on Saturday evening.

Alabama's shooting woes returned at home, with just 19% of Alabama's three-point shots finding the bottom of the net. While Alabama was successful in rebounding the basketball (Alabama outrebounded Auburn 49-40), Auburn made seven more three-point attempts than Alabama.
