Newark, N.J. - The Crimson Tide dominated from three-point range in Alabama's 113-88 win over the BYU Cougars in the Sweet 16 of the 2025 NCAA tournament. Alabama drained 25 threes on 51 attempts, shooting 49 percent from beyond the arc, to advance to the Elite Eight for the third time in school history.

Mark Sears led Alabama in the scoring column. Sears was shooting 11 percent from three in the first two games of the NCAA tournament. In the Sweet 16, Sears shot 62 percent from beyond the arc with 10 makes in the game, scoring 34 total points.

Sears was not the only one who was feeling confident from range, with Chris Youngblood making five of 11 three-point attempts, and Aden Holloway made six of 13 attempts. Labaron Philon shot well from three, making 66 percent of his attempts.

If Alabama had not scored a single two-point bucket on the night, the Crimson Tide still would have won 93-88 over BYU. Instead, the Tide clicked on all cylinders to secure a second-straight Elite Eight appearance.
