Cleveland, Ohio. - The Crimson Tide survived and advanced in the NCAA Tournament. The Robert Morris Colonials, the champions of the Horizon League, threatened the No. 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide. While Robert Morris only took the lead once, then gave it up 30 seconds later, Alabama never was able to pull away and make Crimson Tide fans comfortable with the lead.

At the point, Robert Morris took the lead, Alabama knew it was time to reintroduce Grant Nelson into the lineup - with the Alabama big man missing most of the contest with a left knee injury suffered in Alabama's SEC tournament loss to Florida. Once Nelson came into the game, Alabama was outrebounding Robert Morris 13-8 and built its biggest lead of the entire night - 12 points with just over one minute left.

Alabama will face the winner of Saint Mary's and Vanderbilt on Sunday, March 23.
