GALLERY: Alabama Completes Sweep in Iron Bowl of Basketball on Senior Night

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Crimson Tide completed a series sweep of the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl of basketball with a 96-84 victory over the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night. It was the final game of the regular season, meaning the Crimson Tide's seniors have now finished the final regular season of their collegiate careers.

It wasn't the most prolific night scoring from the Tide's seniors, but that didn't matter. Latrell Wrightsell Jr. led the way for the trio of seniors honored on Saturday with eight points, shooting 4-9 from the floor, collecting a team-leading seven rebounds, which was tied with fellow senior Houston Mallette. Mallette may not have scored, but his seven rebounds and two assists were good enough for him, according to head coach Nate Oats, after the game.

"Houston Mallette, I'm pretty disappointed he didn't score on senior night, but he didn't care. And that's why he's so great," Oats said. He also said Mallette won the hard hat award, which is given to the Alabama player with the most "blue-collar" points after every win.

Naoh Williamson ended the night with two points and two rebounds for the Crimson Tide. Alabama's scoring leaders were Labaron Philon and Aden Holloway, who tied for the lead with 21 points apiece in the 96-84 victory.
