Georgia Injury Updates Ahead of Alabama
No. 2 Georgia is setting up for its toughest test of the season so far, a road trip to No. 2 Alabama. The Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs are both 3-0 and dealing with injuries.
Kirby Smart met with the media on Monday to provide an injury update ahead of Saturday's Clash of Titans.
On Defensive End Mykel Williams (ankle)
“I’m hopeful. We’ll see. He didn’t do much last week,” Smart said. “He got a lot of rehab Friday and Sunday. We’ll see how he’s doing today.”
Williams has missed two games for Georgia after suffering an injury in week one against Clemson. Smart said he is "hopeful" of getting Williams back for Alabama.
On Defensive Tackle Warren Brinson (ankle)
Smart said Brinson practiced last week and is expected to return for the matchup with Alabama.
On Defensive Lineman Jordan Hall (Leg)
Hall was given the same "hopeful" diagnosis as Williams from Kirby Smart.
Other Injuries
Offensive lineman Tate Ratledge will miss Georgia's matchup with Alabama due to a knee and ankle injury combination suffered in the week three win over Kentucky.
Running back Roderick Robinson will miss the game against Alabama due to a toe injury that led to surgery.
Reserve Offensive tackle Marcus Harrison will miss the Alabama game due to a lower leg injury.
Reserve inside linebacker Kris Jones will miss the Alabama game as he nurses a foot injury. He was spotted in a boot during Georiga' week two win over Tennessee Tech.
