The Baltimore Ravens have announced the hiring of its new offensive coordinator after the conclusion of its interview process. Head coach John Harbaugh has chosen to hire Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken to replace Greg Roman and run the Ravens offense in 2023.

Monken has served as the Georgia's offensive coordinator for the last three seasons and has helped the Bulldogs win back-to-back national championships.

Monken has extensive coaching experience in both the NFL and in college football. His last stint in the league was in 2019 where he served as offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.

Much of the national attention was on the Georgia defense the last few years but the Bulldogs did orchestrate a high-powered offense under Monken. Seven Georgia offensive players have been drafted in the last two years and several more will be selected this spring.

Georgia averaged 501 yards per game in 2022 and finished second in the NCAA in total offensive touchdowns scored and was fifth in the nation in points per game, notching 41.1 points per game.

The Bulldogs will be replacing Monken with a familiar name, Mike Bobo. Bobo, a former Georgia quarterback, has vast experience in the SEC. He's been an offensive coordinator at Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina throughout his career.

Bobo has spent last season on the Georgia staff as an offensive analyst and he and Kirby Smart were teammates in Athens together in the 1990s.
