Alabama will have a heavy presence at the Senior Bowl in January 2026, with five players having accepted invitations to the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, scheduled for the final week of January. Running back Jam Miller, linebackers Deontae Lawson and Justin Jefferson, and defensive lineman Tim Keenan III all previously accepted invitations to work out and practice in front of NFL scouts, general managers, and coaches. On Tuesday, Alabama starting wide receiver Germie Bernard announced that he will be joining them by accepting an invitation to the Senior Bowl in Mobile.

Bernard, a 6-foot-1, 204-pound wide receiver from Las Vegas, Nevada, has been with Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer for three seasons, dating back to Washington's 2023 season, where the Huskies appeared in the national championship game. He's in his second season with the Crimson Tide after following head coach Kalen DeBoer to Tuscaloosa when Alabama hired DeBoer in January 2024.

 

During the 2025 season, Bernard has been Alabama's leading threat at wide receiver, with 57 receptions for 762 yards and seven touchdowns. He's also been a Swiss Army knife for the Crimson Tide this season, with 101 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. His senior season with the Crimson Tide has been his best performance of his career, with as many touchdowns in 2025 (9) as in his previous three seasons combined.

 

Over the course of his collegiate career, Bernard has caught 148 passes for 2,103 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 14.2 yards per reception. He's also carried the ball 35 times for 184 yards and five touchdowns in his career.

 

The Senior Bowl will be played on January 31, 2026.
