Ryan Grubb Shares Positive Update on Jaeden Roberts
Alabama offensive lineman Jaeden Roberts suffered a concussion during fall camp that kept him out of both of the Crimson Tide's scrimmages during fall camp, but he returned healthy to the Tide against Florida State.

Roberts did not appear in Alabama's 31-17 loss to Florida State, but did play a good number of snaps against ULM in the Tide's 73-0 win over the Warhawks. What did offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb see from Roberts on Saturday night?
“Yeah, Jaeden played well. He had about four blocks that I thought were good finisher blocks that you expect out of a guy like J-rob," Ryan Grubb said. "I think he’s still working himself into game shape. He was out for a decent amount of time, but getting back to where he can play a full football game. He’s still kind of getting through all that, but he did a great job.”
Roberts started 12 games for Alabama last season, missing only the Tide's victory over Mercer. Roberts was slated to be the starting right guard for the Crimson Tide before his injury, and rotated with Geno VanDeMark during fall camp.
Roberts was listed as a co-starter alongside Geno VanDeMark for the Crimson Tide in both games on the official depth chart provided by the Crimson Tide's coaching staff.
