Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has the opportunity to accomplish what only one other player has achieved — win the Heisman Trophy in consecutive years.

Twenty-three underclassmen have won the award, but Ohio State running back Archie Griffin was the only one to capture it twice.

Griffin won the award 1974 and 1975. He is shocked that he remains the lone double winner since the award's inception in 1935. Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel says the increased attention from the media and through social networks made his sophomore season more difficult.

Griffin believes it's just a matter of time before it happens again, especially with so many freshmen and sophomores winning the award.

Winston enters the season as the leading candidate with defending national champion Florida State likely starting the year ranked No. 1.
