With all of the the hype around the season, there are a few players I'm looking forward to watching this year.

Jaylen Mbakwe

Mbakwe has made the switch officially from defense to offense for the Tide. I have to admit, I had to go back and watch his high school highlights and he's truly a beast. I can't wait to witness him make some plays this year on offense.

Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.

Kirkpatrick Jr. is primed for a great defensive year. He's not leaning on being the son of an NFL superstar and former Crimson Tide star. He's putting in the off-season work and it's going to be exciting to see it all pay off on the field.

Isaiah Horton

Getting Horton in the transfer portal was huge for the Crimson Tide. The question now becomes how does he fit in with the team and coaches. The ability is there, it's just going to be interesting to see how he meshes with the new systems and personnel.

Ryan Williams

Of course we're all awaiting the return of the young phenom Ryan Williams for the Tide. I really feel like he didn't get a chance to really showcase his skills through the year. This year feels like he's going to get that chance and I'm excited.
