Wildcats all the way! OK, in an effort to be completely transparent, I am a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High.

This is a big deal. County High's baseball program is in the AHSAA 7A Baseball Final Four this weekend.

The first game is this afternoon at 4:30 pm, and if they win, they will play for the championship on Saturday afternoon.

Many of the sports experts I spoke with this week point to one major reason for the amazing TCHS baseball season.

The man at the helm, Nick Richardson, seems to be the key to the way the program has soared of late.

The Wildcat baseball team won the right to play Bob Jones High School, a team they beat in a spring tournament earlier this season.

Coach Richardson was bragging about his boys on the popular radio show, Steve & DC, this morning.
