Jake Fromm Apologizes For Leaked Text Messages

Former Georgia quarterback, Jake Fromm is in hot water after a text message conversation was leaked late last night.

The screenshots were leaked by Twitter user @ashleymp20

The messages are from March 16th, 2019, and it is unclear what the relationship is between Fromm and Ashley

In the text message conversation Fromm says that he believes "only elite white people" should be able to be able to purchase guns.

These comments come at a time where awareness for racial injustice is at an all time high, given the killing of George Floyd.

Fromm tweeted out an apology this afternoon, where he asked people to forgive his actions

Jake Fromm was drafted in the fifth round by the Buffalo Bills just a few months ago, and this is certainly not an ideal situation for the rookie from Warner Robins, Georgia.

The Buffalo Bills gave a statement to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
