Jam Miller Named to Doak Walker Watch List
Alabama's returning starting running back has been named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List, recognizing the top running back in college football annually.

Miller is trying to become the fourth winner of the award in program history, with Najee Harris winning the award in 2020, Derrick Henry winning it in 2015, and Trent Richardson becoming the program's first-ever winner in 2011.
10 semifinalists will be named in November, and three finalists will be announced in late November. The deciding vote will be held in December, with the winner announced during ESPN's College Football Awards Show on December 12.
Miller served as Alabama's primary running back for the 2024 season, accumulating 668 yards and seven rushing touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Miller also caught 16 passes for 155 yards and a receiving touchdown during the 2024 campaign.
In 2023, Miller was instrumental in the Tide's victory over Georgia in the SEC Championship game, rushing for 23 yards and catching one pass for 28 yards and a touchdown on a wheel route.
Miller enters his senior season with 219 career attempts for 1,092 yards, with a career average of 4.9 yards per rush, with 10 career rushing touchdowns.
