Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle had a career game in receiving yards with 171 yards on 11 receptions and two touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown in Miami's 42-38 comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Dolphins started the game on Sunday afternoon at an immediate disadvantage, after the Ravens returned the opening kickoff to the house for an 103-yard touchdown.

Going down 7-0, Miami was able to respond on its second possession of the game- first with a 59-yard pass from former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to Waddle to get on Baltimore's side of the field, then the former college teammates connected again for a six-yard touchdown just a few plays later.

After Waddle's first touchdown, the Ravens immediately took control of the game back a play later with a 75-yard touchdown pass. Baltimore proceeded to score touchdowns on their next two possessions, taking a 28-7 lead into the half, and a 35-14 lead into the fourth quarter.

Waddle got his number called again late in the fourth quarter during Miami's comeback bid. Down by three points, Miami's offense got the ball back with 2:05 left on the clock, where the offense went downfield to the Baltimore seven-yard line with 23 seconds left. On first-and-goal, Tagovailoa tried finding Waddle in the end zone, but the pass was incomplete. On second-and-goal, Tagovailoa went right back to Waddle in the end zone again, who this time was able to haul it in for what would be Miami's first lead of the game and the game-winning touchdown.

This game by Waddle is just his second career game in the NFL with over 100 receiving yards, the first coming in his rookie year last season against the Carolina Panthers, and also just his second career game with multiple touchdowns, with the first coming last season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, these first two games of the season are the first in his NFL career of scoring back-to-back touchdowns.

Waddle and the Dolphins will play at home against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, September 25, at noon CT. The game will be aired on CBS in certain locations.
