Jeremiah Beaman Suffers Season-Ending ACL Tear

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama third-year defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman has suffered a season-ending ACL tear, it was announced by Yea Alabama on Wednesday morning.

It's the second consecutive season Beaman has suffered a season-ending ACL tear. He started Alabama's season opener against Florida State in the 2025 season before tearing his ACL in practice prior to the ULM game in week two.

Beaman, a Birmingham, Alabama, native, was a four-star recruit in Alabama's 2024 recruiting class after committing in May of 2023. His injury is a blow to Alabama's defensive line, as he was having a good fall camp prior to the injury he suffered on Sunday morning during Alabama's practice.

The defensive line room isn't bare, however, with London Simmons, Isaia Faga, and Edric Hill among the returning players from last season. Alabama also brought in Terrance Green from Oregon, Kedrick Bingley-Jones from Mississippi State, and Devan Thompkins from USC via the transfer portal in December.

Beaman was competing for a starting spot along Alabama's defensive line, vacated following Tim Keenan III's declaration for the NFL draft in January.
