Alabama Defensive Lineman Injured During Tide’s Practice
Alabama received positive injury news on Wednesday morning with the six players who missed or left the Florida State game due to injury. However, the Crimson Tide received even worse injury news later on Wednesday, as another Crimson Tide defensive lineman went down during practice.

According to Charlie Potter of Bama OnLine, Alabama defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman suffered a lower-body injury during the Crimson Tide's practice this week.
Beaman is a redshirt junior from Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 314 pounds, he saw action in three games for the Crimson Tide as a true freshman last season. In his three appearances, he totaled two tackles and one quarterback hurry, all three coming against Michigan in the Reliaquest Bowl.
Beaman was a four-star signee in the Crimson Tide's 2024 recruiting class, choosing the Crimson Tide over the Clemson Tigers and the Auburn Tigers.
Beaman got his first career start for the Crimson Tide on Saturday, starting along the defensive line with James Smith, LT Overton, and Jah-Marien Latham.
Beaman did not accumulate any tackles during Alabama's 31-17 loss to Florida State, but did notch one quarterback hurry in the loss. Beaman started in place of injured defensive lineman Tim Keenan III, who the Crimson Tide lost during game-week prep for Florida State.
Beaman's current status is unknown, as Potter reports the Tide is gathering more information on his lower-body injury.
Listed behind Beaman on the Crimson Tide's initial depth chart during the Florida State game is true freshman defensive tackle London Simmons.
