Last season, the Alabama Crimson Tide picked up a commitment from Hillcrest, Tuscaloosa, linebacker Zay Hall, who is now a member of the Crimson Tide's roster. Now, Alabama adds another Hillcrest Patriot, with three-star edge rusher Jeremiah Beverly committing to the Crimson Tide, he announced on the Gary Harris Show. He chose Alabama over Troy, Cincinnati, and Wake Forest.

Beverly, a three-star edge prospect, stands at 6-foot-1 and 233 pounds, and is ranked as the No. 547 overall prospect, the No. 57 edge rusher, and the No. 23 player in the state of Alabama, according to the Rivals Industry ranking.

 

Beverly has taken four visits to the Crimson Tide after picking up an offer on June 8 during an unofficial visit to the Capstone. He took his official visit to Tuscaloosa on June 19.

 

 

He also took an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech on April 4. He also held offers from Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Appalachian State, Liberty, South Alabama, Georgia Southern, Troy, and Samford, among others.

 

Beverly is the 12th commitment in Alabama's 2027 recruiting class, according to the Rivals Recruiting Board:
