Jocelyn Briski Earns Third Weekly SEC Honor to Cap Softball Regular Season
Alabama pitching ace Jocelyn Briski earned her third weekly honor from the Southeastern Conference, being named the SEC Pitcher of the Week in Alabama's regular-season finale against the South Carolina Gamecocks over the weekend.

The Crimson Tide's junior pitcher secured her third SEC Pitcher of the Week honor, the most of any SEC pitcher this season, after appearing in all three games of Alabama's series sweep against South Carolina last weekend, where she recorded one win and two starts, allowing a 1.11 earned run average and one save across 12.2 innings pitched. In just over 12 innings pitched, Briski allowed 10 hits, four runs, two errors, one walk, and struck out 14 batters against the Gamecocks. She allowed just two earned runs over her appearances this weekend and pitched a 1-2-3 seventh inning in game two to earn a save for the Crimson Tide and pitched a complete-game victory in game three to secure the sweep.
Briski's third weekly honor is the 10th for the Crimson Tide this season, breaking the Tide's program record set in 2006 when it had nine. It's also the second-highest award total in SEC history, tied with Oklahoma's 10 in 2025 and only trailing Florida's 11 in 2024 and LSU's 11 in 2015.
