The Crimson Tide has just 13 games left on its regular season schedule for the SEC men's basketball season, and the latest bracketology from ESPN's Joe Lunardi shows the Crimson Tide has work to do if Nate Oats hopes to claim another top=four seed in the NCAA tournament.

According to Lunardi's latest bracketology, Alabama is a current five-seed if the NCAA tournament started today, with the Crimson Tide most likely in the West Region with the current No. 1 overall seed, Arizona.

The Crimson Tide's round of 64 matchup would be against Liberty, a 12-seed, with the game being played in Tampa, Florida. If the Tide can conquer the Flames, then Alabama would play the winner of four-seed Virginia and 13-seed FAU in the round of 32.

Oats and the Crimson Tide have made the Sweet 16 each of the last three seasons, with Alabama making it all the way to the Final Four for the first time in program history during the 2023-24 season, and the Elite Eight for just the third time ever during the 2024-25 season.

Right now, the SEC is projected to get the most teams in the bracket out of any conference, with 10 of the conference's 16 teams projected in the field:

Vanderbilt (3-Seed)
Florida (4-Seed)
Alabama (5-Seed)
Arkansas (5-Seed)
Tennessee (6-Seed)
Kentucky (8-Seed)
Georgia (8-Seed)
Auburn (9-Seed)
Texas A&M (10-Seed)
Texas (11-Seed)

Alabama's next game is scheduled for this Saturday, January 24, at home against the Tennessee Volunteers.
