Former Alabama wide receiver JoJo Earle entered the transfer portal in early December. The Aledo, Texas native was ranked as a top 45 wide receiver in the class of 2021. In 2022, he missed the first four weeks of the season due to a foot injury, but made an impact upon his return with 12 receptions for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns, while averaging 12.9 yards a carry. Earle announced on Saturday that he will be transferring to TCU.

Earle's last game with the Tide was against Austin Peay, where he had three receptions for 17 yards. His best game of the season was against Mississippi State where he made three receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown. Earle will certainly be a big contributor to the Horned Frogs's offense and it would be interesting to see him play alongside the Heisman finalist quarterback Max Duggan if he decides to return for another season.

In 2021, Earle earned Freshman All-SEC honors as a punt returner, and caught 12 passes for 148 yards. Earle is the fifth commitment for TCU in the past 72 hours.

Earle is amongst two other Alabama receivers that have announce their transfer destinations, with Christian Leary heading to Central Florida and Traeshon Holden going to Oregon. Aaron Anderson is still uncommitted.
