Justin Thomas, fresh off his appearance as a guest-media member at "The Match II" is focusing on the return of the PGA Tour this week. Thomas will play The Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in in Fort Worth, Texas for the first time in his career. Thomas had two PGA Tour victories prior to the suspension of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thomas will be thrown in a grouping with two of his good friends on Thursday and Friday in Jordan Spieth and Ricky Fowler. Thomas enters the tournament ranked fourth in the world, Fowler is ranked 27th and Speith 56th. The trio tees off at 12:55 central time, and the purse for the win is $7.5 million.

"I got very used to being at home I was able to get into a great routine," said Thomas. "I was using my backyard as a gym everyday, that was nice."

Thomas spoke about his time in the quarantine and how excited he is to return to golf.

The former Crimson Tide golfer discussed playing at Colonial Club for the first time in his career.

"I went out and played nine this morning, it's awesome. It's a place I've always watched on TV and I love how it looks. It's a fun tournament to watch, it's just unfortunately never come at a good time in the schedule. It's a place that I feel like I would like, and I do from the nine holes that I saw," said Thomas.

Jimmy Johnson will carry the bag for Thomas this weekend and the one time major winner told the press he would rely heavily on Johnson's experience at this course. Johnson has aided two different golfers to tournament victories at Colonial in his career.

"He's been here a lot of times and I've already told him going into this week that I'm relying a lot on him. He knows my game just as well as I know my own so I'm fine with stepping up on a tee and saying, 'Jimmy what am I hitting here? Because you know what I like and you know what's best here,'" said Thomas.

Thomas's odds to win this weekend are 16-1. The 2019 champion was Kevin Na. The tournament will be aired on TV on the Golf Channel and CBS.
