Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has seen success with big-bodied wide receivers, most notably, Rome Odunze, during his time at Washington. Odunze had 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior season under Kalen DeBoer at Washington.

The Crimson Tide added another big-bodied receiver after signing Derek Meadows in the 2025 recruiting class. On Wednesday, four-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan signed with Alabama, bringing size that Alabama continues to search for in its wide receiver room, standing at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds.

"Tall and athletic. You know, Cederian is a basketball guy, right? So he's got that athleticism," DeBoer said on Wednesday afternoon. "Track, right? I think 6-8 or close to that high-jumper. So a big guy that can get up. And just the different ways that he gets the ball in his hands in their offense, it shows off what he can do, you know, as an athlete. I think you want to have a mix of guys, but he certainly fills that area as far as being a bigger, you know, longer type guy that plays big. He plays bigger than even what he is from a catch radius standpoint, and so really excited about him. He's passionate about this place. He and his entire family, you know, just love Alabama and excited to see what he's gonna do. You know, fitting in the role there at receiver."

Morgan finished his senior season with 82 receptions for 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns as Benjamin Russell made the semifinals in the AHSAA 6A State Playoffs.

Alabama signed 20 players on early signing day for the 2026 recruiting class.
