Kalen DeBoer Updates Status of Jam Miller, Derek Meadows
Alabama had two players exit Saturday's 27-24 victory over the Missouri Tigers with concussions suffered in the matchup, calling Jam Miller and Derek Meadows' statuses in question on Saturday against the Tennessee Volunteers.

On Wednesday, during the SEC coaches call, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided updates on both players with four days until kickoff on the Third Saturday in October.
"I expect Derek (Meadows) will be out," DeBoer said. "I think Jam (Miller) probably will be put 'questionable' state for the weekend when it comes to the report tonight. That's kinda where I see that right now."
The 'report' Kalen Deboer mentioned is the SEC availability report, which teams release on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights leading up to games against SEC competition. There is no requirement for teams to release an availability report when playing non-SEC opponents. Additionally, teams release a final availability report on Saturdays, 90 minutes before kickoff.
Although he's only played in three games so far this season for Alabama, Jam Miller is the Crimson Tide's leading rusher with 267 yards and one rushing touchdown. Miller departed last week's win over Missouri in the fourth quarter after suffering a hit to the head while going out of bounds. Quarterback Ty Simpson leads the team with two rushing touchdowns.
No. 6 Alabama will host No. 11 Tennessee this Saturday, October 18, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
