Kalen DeBoer Provides Injury Update on Injured Offensive Players After Missouri Win
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Alabama may have escaped Columbia, Missouri, with a 27-24 victory, but it didn't do so unscathed. Ryan Williams came into the game banged up with a lower-body injury and was more so a decoy than a weapon in the Alabama offense on Saturday. Head coach Kalen DeBoer mentioned Ryan Williams' injury when he began his postgame press conference:

"Just something carried over from last week's game," Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said during postgame press conference. "It would've been earlier in the game last week, just took a hit. It would've been earlier in the game last week, just took a hit and so just hobbled. He didn't get to practice much this week.
"That's why he was on the report, which makes it a little harder to get him out there. Especially when you have the confidence in other guys to go make plays. I haven't gotten the report, exactly, of how he got through. I know he was out there and did help us. I would expect him to continue to make progress. He's not that far away."
In addition to Ryan Williams' injury update, Coach DeBoer said that Jam Miller and Derek Meadows both suffered concussions after taking hits to the head in the Tide's 27-24 victory over Missouri. Their status for the Tennessee game next Saturday is in question.
