Kalen DeBoer’s First Season Subject of Docuseries

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - Kalen DeBoer's first season at Alabama will be the subject of a new docuseries, according to a press release from the University of Alabama athletics program.

The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama Football series will premiere on February 19 on FOX Nation. The series will provide behind-the-scenes access to the Alabama football program during the first year of the Kalen DeBoer era of the Crimson Tide, where Alabama went 9-4 overall.

The Docuseries will follow the first season for Alabama since the retirement of seven-time national champion head coach Nick Saban in January 2024. It will tell the story of Alabama's evolution under new head coach Kalen DeBoer, providing an up close and personal look at the players, staff, and coaches as they navigate the weekly grind of an SEC schedule while simultaneously honoring the legacy of Nick Saban and Alabama football.

From the excitement of Alabama's upset victory over the Georgia Bulldogs to the heartbreaking loss and blown calls from the Oklahoma game, fans will be able to watch the entirety of the 2024 Alabama football season unfold from a never-before-seen viewpoint.

“Alabama football’s legacy is unparalleled, and this partnership allows fans to see what goes into wearing the crimson and white,” said head coach Kalen DeBoer in the press release. “This is more than just a football story – it is a look at the passion and culture that surrounds this program. It also gives viewers a look inside the team and what we embody, including the discipline and resilience that define this program.”

The six-part docuseries will be available exclusively on Fox Nation, a streaming service that costs $7.99 per month.
