Alabama will travel to Norman, Oklahoma on November 23 for a 6:30 p.m. Kick-off against the Sooners.

Alabama and Oklahoma will play for the first time since the Orange Bowl in the 2018 College Football Playoffs.

In that game, Alabama defeated Oklahoma 45-38. Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa passed for 318 yards and four touchdowns, and Josh Jacobs carried the ball 15 times for 98 yards and had four catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. Eventual Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith was Alabama's leading receiver with six catches for 104 yards and one touchdown.

Kyler Murray was the quarterback for Oklahoma, winning the 2018 Heisman Trophy. Murray passed for 308 yards and two touchdowns in the game against Alabama.

In 2024, Alabama is 7-2 and should control their own destiny in the race for the 12-team College Football Playoffs. Oklahoma is 5-5 and needs to win one more game to achieve bowl eligibility in the Sooners' first season in the SEC.
