Kira Lewis Jr. declared for the NBA Draft on March 25, on April 21 he declared he would stay in the NBA and hire an agent, today he decided on representation. Lewis Jr. announced on his Twitter he will be signing with Verus Basketball.

Verus already represents several players in the league such as Terry Rozier, Victor Oladipo, Kevin Knox, Derrick Jones Jr. and others. Lewis Jr. is projected to be a mid-first round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Verus Basketball will aim to aide Lewis Jr. in the pre-draft process and into his career.

Verus Basketball facilitated Rozier's three-year $58 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets last summer. Verus helped Knox become the ninth player drafted in the 2018 NBA Draft. Verus helped Jones Jr. get picked into the Slam Dunk contest in 2020, an event that Jones Jr. ended up winning.

Verus is young agency headed by CEO Gregg S. Levy and President Aaron Turner. The agency already has several nice accomplishments on its resume, adding Lewis Jr. could turn into a mutually beneficial partnership.
