Knights Claim 1st Region Championship

Tuscaloosa Academy celebrated homecoming tonight with a 48-26 win over the Cold Spring Eagles. They Also captured their first AHSAA region championship tonight. After moving up from the AISA ranks in 2022 the Knights are 2A Region 5 champions. Preston Lancaster had a phenomenal night throwing for five touchdowns to five different receivers.

The Knights started off the scoring tonight with Lancaster hitting Ellis Hamiter from two yards out and missing the extra point. The Golden Eagles responded with a three yard touchdown run from Josh Winfield. Lancaster brought the Knights back down hitting Mills Turnipseed from twelve yards out.
