LOOK: Alabama’s First-Rounders Shine on Red Carpet
Alabama football added two more names to the tally of total first-round picks on Thursday. But before the 2022 Draft even got started, both of the Tide first-rounders got a chance to show off their style on the NFL's red carpet.
New Detriot Lions receiver Jameson Williams was seen doing the Crimson Tide's famous crane kick touchdown celebration on the red carpet, something Alabama fans got to see 15 times in 2021 from the transfer.
Along with a vivid red suit, diamond grills and a silver chain reading "SG" for Skully Gang, a clothing company Williams promotes, the 6-foot-2 St. Louis native seemed dressed to impress any fanbase he went to.
The Lions' No. 12 pick stuck with the matching Alabama crimson and white scheme wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh Limited Edition Trainers, shoes costing upwards of $2,000.
Evan Neal, the 6-foot-7 offensive tackle heading to New York with the Giants, decided to pay homage to his hometown of Okeechobee, Florida with his suit. The inside of the IMG product's jacket lining reads "Lake Okeechobee," and pictures the lake's map outline.
The Giants' pick at No. 7 completed the look with a silver Cuban link chain and a diamond-encrusted Rolex Datejust 41 watch, the latter piece of jewelry valued anywhere from $20,000-$30,000.
Williams and Neal now mark Alabama's 73rd and 74th pick in program history to reach the NFL Draft's first round. Under Nick Saban alone, the Crimson Tide has produced 41 players that have heard their names called on Day 1 of the draft.
