Alabama continued fall camp this past weekend as the team prepares to take on Utah State on September 3 to open the 2022 season. The Tide returns 15 starters to a team that made an appearance in the National Championship last year, most notably quarterback Bryce Young and edge rusher Will Anderson, Jr.

Nick Saban said of practice this weekend, "We're obviously very excited about the challenges of the season, but even more excited about what you have to do to try to develop a team that can play with consistency. Guys that can go out there and give the kind of effort, play with the kind of mental toughness, ability to sustain, execute, do their job together as a unit and have the kind of team chemistry that promotes the kind of togetherness that you want on a team."
