Marlon Humphrey, son of Alabama legend Bobby Humphrey, is in his senior year at Hooover High School and has narrowed down his college list to three schools: Alabama, Florida State, and Mississippi State. The five-star cornerback plans to make his announcement at the Under Armor All-American game.

Humphrey has a strong connection to every school he's considering. His sister currently runs track at Mississippi State. His main recruiter at Florida State is former Alabama defensive back coach and top recruiter Jeremy Pruitt. According to Humphrey, every school he is considering has agreed to let him be a two sport athlete - football and run track. Yes, that includes Alabama. The 6'1", 175-pound Humphrey displayed his speed and athleticism on the United States junior national team.

Hoover head coach Josh Niblett talked to MaxPreps.com about his star player. Here's what Niblett told them:

He's a great player. He allows us to do a lot of different things in the secondary.

After watching Marlon’s film it's pretty clear he has an unteachable instinct for the ball. He seems to be involved in every play. He plays at an extremely high speed no matter what he is doing. His lock down corner abilities are incredible for a high school player. He reminds me a lot of former University of Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner. If he does let you catch the ball, he will punish you and make you not want to catch it again. He is truly the full package at cornerback and fits the Nick Saban mold perfectly. No matter where he decides to go, he will be great.
