Mayor Walt Maddox Explains 24-Hour Curfew on The Game

Following Governor Kay Ivey's order to shut down all non-essential businesses beginning March 28 at 5 p.m., Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox made an executive order to begin a 24-hour curfew in the city starting March 29th.

The mayor joined The Game with Ryan Fowler Friday to explain the curfew and why it has been implemented.

During the conversation Mayor Maddox discusses what went into the decision to implement a 24-hour curfew, the data of patients and cases in Tuscaloosa, where this order stands in the possible steps to flatten the curve, how the curfew will be enforced, and if full shut-in measures could be on the horizon
